Peter Huber Kältemaschinenbau SE currently employs around 480 people and has become the innovation and technology leader for precise temperature control solutions in research and industry worldwide. The product range of the family-owned company includes circulators with CO2 as a natural refrigerant, classic heating and cooling thermostats as well as dynamic temperature control systems, the Unistats.

The Unistat technology is regarded as the leading international solution for demanding temperature control tasks. Huber temperature control units are used in various scenarios worldwide. Automotive manufacturers such as Audi, BMW and Volkswagen use machines to perform stress tests on engines and transmissions. Well-known chemical and pharmaceutical companies such as BASF, Bayer, Roche or Ratiopharm are also among the Offenburg-based company's customer base.

As a specialist supplier, Huber sells systems such as temperature control for research and production reactors. For many applications, Huber manufactures customised special products according to specific customer requirements, thus demonstrating the company's flexibility and innovative strength.

For the development of the Rotostat, a workstation for rotary evaporators without waste water pollution and with minimised energy consumption, the company founder and visionary Peter Huber was awarded the "Innovation Prize of the State of Baden-Württemberg". Since 1994, Huber has been the only manufacturer to offer most of its product range with environmentally friendly refrigerants. The company received the "Environmental Award of the State of Baden-Württemberg" for its exemplary environmental policy.
