Peter Huber Kältemaschinenbau SE was the first company in the whole of Baden-Württemberg to be awarded the KEFF+ label by the Ministry of the Environment. Huber had significantly reduced its energy consumption by investing in photovoltaics and converting pump systems, among other things. At the production site in Offenburg, District Administrator Frank Scherer presented the KEFF+ label to Daniel Huber, CEO of Peter Huber Kältemaschinenbau SE, on Monday.
The Huber family has expanded its business interests to include a long-established Offenburg-based company, “J. Schneider Elektrotechnik”. The newly acquired company with 420 employees will continue to operate independently but as a sister company of Peter Huber Kältemaschinenbau SE.
